400 Hour Program
We will be spending a lot, if not most of our time outdoors!
400+ Hour Program - Meets 4 days a month,(one weekend a month) at the Eden Hot Springs, in Arizona, and includes 4 - five day - deep trips into the mountains and deserts in the Southwest. During hotter months we may meet in Silver City, New Mexico, for one or two of those meeting times.
This course will run from September 2017 to September 2018
This school program is about the deepest journey possible with plant medicines and your self. The program is basically with the plants for the entire 400+ hours! No other herbal program in the world is like this one.
Guest Teachers from all over will assist when possible. Deep spiritual teachers, elders, shamans, and plant medicine experts that will appear like magic ... helping us to go deep into the connection of plant medicine.
You can be a beginner or advanced ... does not matter, by the time you are finished with this course you will have a deeper connection to plant medicine and yourself ... it is a journey with unlimited potential.
Herbal Medicine is about plants and this school is all about spending 400+ hours with them in the field. Everything, you normally would learn in an herb program, will occur, but it will occur with nature and plants as our dominant classroom.
Cost is $3200.00
We will explore medicine gardens that most people never get to experience. While some hikes might appear physically challenging at first, they will not be, and I never take anyone where I know they can not go or handle. We also build up to some of the longer hikes, and our real goal is NOT to do some outward bound type of herbal training, but to experience herbal medicine first and foremost. We will never leave anyone behind and we will take care of each other on these walks and in the field.
We need to always make sure the person next to us is doing ok and I need people to be straight up and honest as to how they are doing on these walks. If we need to slow down, then tell me. If we need to rest and talk about plants for awhile then tell me. If you are not feeling up to a particular part of the hike we are on then please tell me. Good honest communication is needed.
I guarantee you that by the end of our time together you will be able to do more than you thought you could do, but this unfolds slowly and naturally.
Often good to bring layers of clothing, the weather can change throughout the day. A good daypack, with plenty of water, food, sunscreen, hat, notebook, camera, more snacks, more water, etc. It is good to be somewhat self-contained. We can stay out longer. We usually hike some, then stop and talk about plants, take breaks, eat, etc. On all day adventure/teaching sessions, we might even take a nap or a real long break after lunch. We go slowly and move through the desert and forest, at the pace that is required.
Moving through the desert requires patience and attention. That is why it is important to help each other see any obstacles, and to basically be mindful of how the people around you are doing. We help each other. The more we do this, the further we can go as a group. It truly is amazing what a coherent group energy can do. It can achieve amazing things, experience wonderful things .. but only if we work together. Some days the strongest might be the weakest and other days the weakest might be the strongest! In my experience a coherent group energy is always strong!
It is very important to me that any problems you might be experiencing with the program or any expectations you may have had that are not being addressed .. are communicated to me sooner rather than later. Language creates reality. I want our reality in this program to be precise, magical and beyond what you could of imagined. However we need good communication amongst all of ourselves … this skill, this basic skill is required in order to manifest a unique and wonderful reality during these 10 months.

Essentially, while I am the leader and I have a set course of instruction in mind, our group, all of us together have a unique opportunity to create a wonderful and extremely unique experience together. One that can never be duplicated ever again.
