Years ago, when I was working as a Tree Planter in the Southern United States, I collected many artifacts from the sites that we planted trees on! Mainly in North Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and the Carolinas. ALL of these were collected on private land and are legal!!!

There are points, knife blades, scrapers, hammer stones, various tools of all kinds. There are 3 artifacts that have FOSSILS incorporated into them .. one hammer stone/scraper with a fossil sea urchin and another with a fossil sand dollar. Those are VERY RARE and literally one of a kinds ...
